Cycling: Puster Valley Cycle Path and more
South Tyrol’s most famous cycle path runs right past Wildberg and offers 100 kilometres of breathtaking beauty. Turn left to reach the episcopal city of Brixen (Bressanone) or right to head for Lienz in Austria. Those who prefer a more leisurely pace can cycle 3 km to Bruneck (Brunico) where cappuccino, gelato, and a charming old town await. A little further on, the Loden Museum in Vintl (Vandoies) (18 km) or the picturesque Sand in Taufers (Campo Tures) (20 km) beckon, with its castle and Reinbach Waterfalls. For mountain bikers, the Kronplatz (Plan de Corones) region offers endless trails, whilst road cyclists rave about the Strada del Sole and the legendary Dolomite passes.
