Camping & Wellness in South Tyrol: Swimming, Perspiring, Unwinding

Wellness has always been part of life here at Wildberg. Even our great-great-grandmother Steinkasserer would sometimes stand barefoot in the crystal-clear mountain stream, lift her face to the Dolomite sun, and take a long, deep breath. Today, we can offer a little more: a heated swimming pool, a sauna in the historic Mühlhäusl, the mill house, and a sunbathing lawn. You should still wade barefoot into the Mühlbachl stream, because it feels wonderful

Swimming pool: splashing, paddling, and night swimming

Our heated outdoor swimming pool with its waterfall and distinctive design has water jets for children and grown-ups alike to enjoy. Whether you are splashing about, swimming lengths, diving in, or simply drifting along, feel free. Open from May to early October, and when the sun goes down, the best part begins: night swimming until 9.30 p.m. in the illuminated water beside the babbling brook is the perfect way to round off an eventful day.

Sauna in the Mühlhäusl: Perspiring within historic walls

Our once-busy oil mill has been lovingly restored and renovated with great attention to detail. Local reclaimed timber, Tyrolean natural stone, and split shingles, crafted using traditional methods, have given the mill a new lease of life.

A unique sauna with a beautiful, brick-built sauna stove and original, hand-painted wooden benches from the 17th century

  • Steam sauna and Finnish sauna
  • Balcony to take a deep breath
  • Rain shower for refreshment
  • Toilet

Book the whole Mühlhäusl for 2 hours starting from €25 for two people. We are happy to provide sauna towels and bathrobes. Guests staying in the suites receive one free entry per week.

Sunbathing lawn, Mühlbachl & places of power

After a swim or the sauna, head out to the sunbathing lawn. Spread out your towel, let the sun shine on your skin, and enjoy the birdsongs. Relaxation as it used to be. Isn’t it wonderful?

The crystal-clear Mühlbachl stream babbles right past Wildberg. So, come on, off with your socks, and in you go! And just behind Wildberg, the forest begins, with its mystical, ancient, special places, where time seems to stand still. Just ask us, and we will be happy to show you the way.
